TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Cath Lab RN in Council Bluffs, Iowa, 51503 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cath Lab RN - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day - 5x8 - 07:30 - 16:00 Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Active RN License to submit Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Cath Lab experience; diagnostic and balloon angioplasty caths; preferably experience with cardioversions, loop recorders, and EP cases Job Description: - Act as RN for cath procedures and provide backup support for TEE, CV, loop recorder insertion, etc. - Work in both Acute Inpatient and Outpatient care settings. - Utilize EMR systems such as Epic and Siemens. - Perform job duties in compliance with hospital protocols. - Orientation consists of system classes and lab-specific training (duration varies based on experience). - Participate in a Pass/Fail open-book exam during orientation, with a required score of 90% to pass. - Maintain charge nurse support on each shift. - Wear hospital-provided surgical scrubs in accordance with the dress code. - Respond to call requirements with a response time of less than 30 minutes. - Schedule includes weekday shifts with on-call duties, night/weekend/holiday rotations required. - Follow a radius rule of 50 miles for eligibility. - Submit requests for time off upfront for consideration, with limitations outlined for the 13-week contract duration. - Work within a facility that accommodates a Trauma Level 3 care setting. 26078860EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
