Job Description:

  • Certification Details
  • Required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA or equivalent certification.
    • Job Details
    • CST position available.
      • Job Requirements
      • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) via NBSTSA.
      • Will take NBSTSA or NCST.
      • Average number of cases: 4 - heavily dependent upon which specialty providers are on-site.
      • Common cases: Most common surgeries include ortho, general surgery, ENT, urology.
      • No Charge Nurse/House Supervisor on each shift, but other Nurses available.
        • Schedule Information
        • 30-40 hours/week.
        • Approx. 6:00am-5:00pm, dependent upon surgery schedule.
        • Weeknight/Call requirements to be discussed in the interview.
        • Weekend/Holiday Call requirements in rotation with permanent staff.
        • Call response time: 30 minutes.
          • Additional Details
          • Number of Suites: 1 currently but hope to have 2 soon.
          • Scrubs are hospital laundered and provided.
