  • Hospital located in Eastern Nebraska is looking for travel RN's in their HVI (Cardio/General ICU/PCU/MedSurg combined Unit) - Generalist ICU and PCU experience accepted. This is an ASAP need.
    • Job Requirements
    • 1 year of experience with this patient population
    • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS
      • Schedule Information
      • 13 weeks, 48 hour contracts
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1900, 1830-0700; Manager does schedule, no block or self-scheduling
      • Weekend Requirements: Every other
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:4, 1:3 for post surgical patients in the first 24 hours
        • Are there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: Yes- 1:18
        • Hospitalist &/or Intensivist in house 24/7? In the ICU 24/7?: Yes hospitalist and intensivist in house with Cardiology on call after hours
        • RT in ICU 24/7?: Yes
        • Are there Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips?: Remote tele techs, tele hardwired and tele box capabilities. RNs must read and interpret.
          • Additional Details
          • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Patients who require intermediate care and downgraded CVICU patients. Unit heavily supports the thoracic program, EP, cath lab, and structural heart.
          • Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes
          • Floating Requirements: Will float to all same level and lower levels of acuity
          • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue
