  • CVICU is an 18 bed unit that supports three surgical lines, cardiac, thoracic, and vascular at the ICU level.
  • Open heart, complex thoracic and vascular patients recover on the unit with our specialized trained nurses.
  • Patients are stabilized and supported by impella, IBP, CRRT and ECMO.
  • The unit also supports complex cases coming from cath lab, structural heart program and EP lab, ER and clinic.
  • We are looking for nurses who have 1 year of experience with this patient population.
  • We do not utilize CNAs in our ICU.
  • 18 bed CardiacThoracicVascular Intensive Care Unit.
  • Population we care for in CVICU: ECMO, Balloon Pumps, CRRT, Heart Surgeries, TAVRs, Common and Advanced thoracic and cardiac surgeries, Lytic cases, Carotids and TCARS Fempop, EVAR's/Endo AAA's

      • Schedule Information
      • Shift: 12 hr nights
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Patient-Nurse Ratio: 1:1.8
        • Nursing ratio is 1:2, can be 1:1 depending on the patient.
