  • A large system in Nebraska/Iowa are looking for a day Med/Surg RN.
  • Medical Surgical with tele.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated.
      • Schedule Information
      • 12 Hour shifts/ 36 hours per week.
      • 0630-1900, 1830-0700
      • every other weekend.
        • Additional Details
        • Unit / Location / Floor Designation: 7 west/7 east/5 east
        • Number of Beds: 60
        • Patient Population: Adults with a small amount of pediatrics (1-5 peds a year)
        • RN Ratio: 5:01
        • Common Patient Diagnosis: post surgical, diabetes, HF, HTN, weakness, cancer
        • Scrubs: Navy
        • EMR: Epic
        • IV pumps: Alaris
        • Float: yes, to 6E, acute rehab unit, geriatric psych unit
