POSITION SUMMARY

Primary responsibility for all aspects of Claim intake, comprised mostly of Commercial Auto claims, with assistance to additional lines as required.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

* Answer and respond to customer service phone calls for both Inquiries and for First Notice of Loss (phone reports)
* Prepare acknowledgement letters and forward via mail or electronically to the insured, brokers and/or claimants
* Responds to Claim related calls and correspondence primarily from brokers, insureds and non-insured claimants and vendors
* Investigates to uncover the claim customers' needs and manages the customer experience from claim intake to resolution
* Adheres to World Class Customer Service Standards and documents all claim customer interactions in the call center management technology application
* Engages and Participates in the Arch Experience values and continuous improvement initiatives

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* High School Graduate or equivalent, some college or insurance related experience preferred
* 2 to 3 years experience in Customer Service (preferably Commercial Auto Claims)
* Skill with MS Office, WORD, EXCEL
* Must be detail oriented
* Superior customer service and communication skills required
* Excellent verbal/written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Computer and keyboarding skills
* Ability to work in multiple systems
* Salary: $41,300 - $51,615/year
