Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Human Resources (HR)
Manager to lead the HR function at our fast-paced FMCG
manufacturing facility.
This role is responsible for driving HR initiatives that support
operational excellence, employee engagement, and compliance with
labor regulations.
The HR Manager will partner with plant leadership to ensure a
high-performance culture while overseeing talent acquisition,
employee relations, training, compliance, and workforce
planning.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain top talent
for all plant positions
Partner with department managers to forecast staffing needs and
succession planning
Foster a positive work environment by proactively addressing
employee concerns
Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on
HR-related matters
Promote and drive initiatives that enhance employee morale,
engagement, and retention
Manage conflict resolution and disciplinary actions in a fair and
consistent manner
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws,
including OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, and EEOC regulations
Maintain and enforce company HR policies, procedures, and the
employee handbook
Conduct workplace investigations and recommend appropriate
actions
Implement training programs that support employee growth and
compliance requirements
Work with supervisors to develop leadership and skills development
programs
Lead performance management processes, including goal setting and
coaching
Support payroll processes and benefits administration in
partnership with corporate HR
Conduct job evaluations and ensure competitive wage structures
Assist employees with benefits questions and open enrollment
processes
Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and
employee satisfaction
Provide reports and insights to plant leadership to drive strategic
HR decisions
Manage HRIS and personnel records in compliance with legal
standards
Skills & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field
5+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing or FMCG
environment
Strong knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best
practices
Experience with HRIS (Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint)
