Job Description:
A company is looking for a Loan Underwriter II specializing in
Home Equity Lending Fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Underwrite and evaluate home equity loans and lines of credit in
compliance with bank policies
Approve loans, issue alternative options, and validate data entry
in the Loan Operating System
Coach and mentor operations staff while maintaining knowledge of
regulatory and lending policies
Required Qualifications and Education
High school diploma or GED required; 2-year degree or equivalent
experience preferred
2+ years of underwriting experience
Advanced knowledge of loan underwriting documentation
requirements
Familiarity with Agency DU automated underwriting system and
complex loan products
Experience underwriting home equity loans and lines of credit is
preferred
