As a Cloud Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in supporting revenue-generating activities by providing solution architecture, service design, and delivery within the public cloud services team. This position requires strong technical expertise, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with customers, internal teams, and external partners.What are the details?Primary Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Solution Design and Implementation:Ensure success in building and migrating customer applications, infrastructure, software, and services to the cloud.
  • Design scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud architectures tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure successful deployment and implementation of cloud solutions.
  • Customer Engagement and Advocacy:Educate customers on the value of cloud services, lead complex architectural discussions, and advocate for cloud adoption.
  • Conduct workshops and knowledge transfer sessions to help customers understand the business value of cloud services.
  • Develop deep relationships with senior technical stakeholders within customer organizations to promote best practices and cloud advocacy.
  • Build proposals and SOWs for accounts team and present them to customers.
  • Industry Knowledge and Best Practices:Stay updated on the latest industry trends, cloud technologies, and AWS advancements.
  • Recommend innovative solutions to simplify deployments, enhance performance, and optimize costs.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal processes, tools, and methodologies related to cloud service delivery.
  • Security and Compliance:Design compliant and secure cloud solutions aligned with industry standards and customer requirements.
  • Ensure that all solutions meet or exceed security and compliance benchmarks.
  • Collaboration and Team Leadership:Work closely with sales, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure alignment on project goals and customer expectations.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the development of the public cloud services team's capabilities.Basic Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Cloud Solution Architect, Cloud Engineer, or a similar role.
  • Extensive knowledge of AWS services, tools, and best practices. Professional or Specialty level AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional, AWS Certified Security - Specialty or similar are highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance frameworks.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and business-focused manner.
  • Ability to lead discussions and influence technical and business stakeholders.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and implementing complex cloud-based solutions, preferably on AWS.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, or CloudFormation or CDK is a plus.Preferred Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in a solutions architecture, technical presales or cloud consulting role in AWS.
  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing complex cloud-based solutions on AWS.
  • At least 1 professional level and 1 specialty level AWS certifications.
  • Experience in designing and implementing solutions on AWS leveraging Generative AI, including expertise in using AWS Bedrock.
  • Experience with multi-cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP).
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform or CDK).
  • Strong understanding of AWS services supporting DevOps/DevSecOps, networking and hybrid cloud solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python or TypeScript.
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as required to support sales efforts and solution deployments.What do you get from us?
