    • ACLS Preferred
    • BLS required
    • RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated.
    • Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.

      • Contract Length: 13 weeks
      • Shifts Available: 12 hour
      • Shift Times: 1830-0700
      • Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
      • Typical Orientation Period: One week per unit (2 weeks)
      • RN Ratio (Days): Med-Surg-5 to 1
      • RN Ratio (Nights): Med-Surg-6 to 1

          • Common Patient Diagnosis: Orthopedic surgeries (knee, hip, shoulder), Orthopedic injuries, Oncology, Post Surgicals such as hysterectomies, breast reconstruction, plastic surgery, Urological cases and abdominal cases. Behavioral patients awaiting medical clearance
          • Common Drips / Medications: Heparin gtt, blood products
          • Unit Challenges: Staffing, Quick turnaround of patients
          • Are Staff Required to Float? Yes-2 Med-Surg Units and PCU
          • Patient Experience Challenges / Focus: Post operative patients meeting goals to be ready for discharge home. Lots of patient movement on unit, many discharges and admissions.
