Job Description:
_*The hours for this position are Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri 8.5 hour
days (between 7:30am-5pm) with a full day off on Thurs. Minimum
requirements are ARRT RT (R)(CT) and BLS certificate. Ideal
candidate would have ARRT RT (R), (CT) and ARDMS.*_

*POSITION SCOPE:*
This position shall be directly responsible for the performance of
quality daily general radiology exams/CT procedures/ultrasounds
procedures ordered within the clinic. This includes participation
in the development clinical policies & procedures,
supplies/inventory management, physician and patient relationship
management, appearance & cleanliness of imaging areas, and ensuring
the delivery of quality customer service focused patient care.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:*
*X-Ray*-Maintains competency in general x-ray procedure and
technique. Follows all radiology policies and procedures relative
to obtaining images, ordering supplies, preparing and operating the
equipment, evaluating images for technical quality, clerical
function and maintaining patient records. Responsible for all
aspects of general x-ray procedures and reporting. Responsible for
communication of test results to MD/Provider and nursing staff.
Maintains the Adult Pediatric Urology & Urogynecology approved
recall system to follow-up on ordered tests. Ensures assistance and
encourages patient compliance of future or current MD/Provider
orders. Collaborates with MD/Provider regarding test results and
works with MD/Provider and nursing staff to provide optimal patient
outcomes.
*CT Tech*-Maintains competency in CT and general x-ray procedure
and technique. Follows all CT and related radiology policies and
procedures relative to obtaining images, ordering supplies,
preparing and operating the equipment, evaluating images for
technical quality, clerical function and maintaining patient
records.
*Ultrasound Tech*-Maintains competency in ultrasound procedures and
techniques. Follows all ultrasound and related radiology policies
and procedures relative to obtaining images, ordering supplies,
preparing and operating the equipment, evaluating images for
technical quality, clerical function and maintaining patient
records.
*ALL*-Assists in the training of new hires. Effectively organizes
time, equipment, supplies, to carry out daily responsibilities.
Uses equipment effectively by anticipating patient needs and
providing appropriate care. Confirms that proper techniques and
procedures are used according to accepted Standards of Practice and
organizational policies and procedures. Maintains order and
cleanliness of imaging and patient care areas. Consults with
Radiology Manager to ensure day-to-day operations are in accordance
with written policies and in compliance with various regulatory and
accrediting agencies. Assists with the development and monitoring
of established clinical protocols as directed by Physician(s).
Responsible for the delivery of efficient and effective patient
care services. Helps in determining clinical service goals and
effectively manages resources to achieve the goals. Promotes a
customer service oriented relationship with Physicians to ensure
efficient and quality patient care. Responsible for the development
and updating of clinic policies and procedures within areas of
expertise which are reflective of agreed upon practices. Ensures
adherence to all established procedures and safety programs.
Maintains an awareness and understanding of current regulatory
legislation and accreditation standards and their implications on
the clinic and daily operations. Must work as a team member and
perform actions consistent with established Adult Pediatric Urology
& Urogynecology policies and procedures including standards for
safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance. Perform
other duties as assigned including assisting Adult Pediatric
Urology & Urogynecology Physicians with fluoroscopy procedures and
ESWL surgical procedures at Pacific Surgery Center and Boystown
National Research Hospital.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
