Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.Position ResponsibilitiesPreparation and filtration of media and solutions. Proficient use of aseptic technique, metric system, record keeping, use of laboratory equipment, performance of laboratory duties. Follow specifications required in batch records and Standard Operating Procedures.Education and ExperienceHigh school degree or equivalent required. Two years post-secondary education with biological coursework desirable. Preference given to applicants with relevant experience in biological production and/or aseptic manufacturing.Technical Skills and Competencies RequiredBasic mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and interpersonal skill. Computer skills and working knowledge of metric system.Physical Position RequirementsExposure to chemicals, fumes, odors, noise, live steam, temperature fluctuations, biohazards, continuous standingand lifting to a maximum of 50 lbs.
